You are cordially invited to our 2nd Annual Juneteenth Jubilee Breakfast!
Come join us for a morning of celebration and unity at the Empire Event Center. Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast spread. Juneteenth or “Freedom Day” is a day of recognition, restoration and celebration. Long before it was declared a national holiday in 2021, African-American families and communities across the country honored this day each year by gathering together to share a meal, celebrate, dance, connect, and educate a new generation on what it means to be free.
This year, Barbershop Talk and Social Services will be hosting an inaugural Juneteenth Jubilee Breakfast on June 19th, 2025 to honor the Holiday in our city. The breakfast will be a joyful community gathering featuring reflections on freedom and our local Black legacy. The program will include a keynote speaker, music, and time to connect.
We are inviting valued community partners, organizations, and institutions to consider opportunities for sponsorship and/or hosting a table for the Jubilee Breakfast. Don't miss out on this opportunity to come together and commemorate this important day in history. We look forward to seeing you there!
